Who we are
This website is run by Netrayu Eyeurvedics Hospital ("Netrayu", "we"), Jalgaon, Maharashtra, India. We are responsible for the personal information you share with us through this website.
What we collect
- Enquiry form: your name, email address, country, phone or WhatsApp number, the treatment you are interested in, when you might visit, and anything you tell us about your eyes and health.
- Messages: anything you send us by email or WhatsApp, including reports and scans.
- Register on WhatsApp: the answers you give on the Register page stay in your own browser until you press Send in WhatsApp; they then reach us as a WhatsApp message, and WhatsApp's own terms apply to its delivery.
- Basic technical data: our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) for security.
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies and does not track you across other websites. The documentary video is loaded from YouTube (in its privacy-enhanced mode) only when you press play; from then on YouTube's own privacy policy applies.
How we use it
Only to reply to your enquiry, review your reports, prepare a treatment plan and estimate, arrange your visit and provide follow-up care. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.
Health information
Information about your eyes and health is sensitive. We ask for your explicit consent before you send it, we use it only for your care, and it is seen only by the doctors and staff involved in your care.
Legal basis
We process your information with your consent, which you give when you submit the form or send us your reports. Visitors in the European Union or the United Kingdom: we rely on your consent (UK/EU GDPR Article 6(1)(a)) and your explicit consent for health data (Article 9(2)(a)). In India, we process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Who we share it with
- Our doctors and staff who are involved in your care.
- Service providers that help us run this website and receive messages — for example our website host, which delivers form submissions to us. They may process data outside India and act only on our instructions.
- Authorities, only when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to treatment are deleted after 24 months. If you become our patient, your records are kept for as long as medical-records rules in India require.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to us. Withdrawing consent does not affect what we did before you withdrew it. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first; you may also complain to the data-protection authority in your country.
